چکیده

With increasing concerns over environmental problems caused by human disturbances, accurate and reliable predictions of nutrient cycling are essential for sustainable resource management practices. In the last few decades, much effort has been invested in developing biogeochem-ical models with different complexity that capture nutrient cycling across the scales (Li et al. 1992; Parton et al. 2001; Maggi et al. 2008). Regardless of the detail at which the chemical, biological and physical processes are taken into account, all these models are, in the best case, selective mathematical approximations of processes that are essentially complex. Choosing a level of complexity has been a routine concern by biogeochemical modelers (e.g. Johnson and Omland 2004; Homann et al. 2000) as Biogeochemists have usually struggled to decide what level of complexity

مدل سازی واکنش کلزا به تنش‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌های توامان شوری و کمبود نیتروژن

Modeling plant response to salinity and nitrogen deficiency is very important for estimating optimum yield in arid and semi-arid regions. For this purpose, the models of Leibig-Sprengel (LS) and Mitscherlich-Baule (MB) originally proposed to explain plant response to nutrients only were modified to evaluate plant yield response to combined nitrogen and salinity stress conditions. Afterwards, in...

Modeling Factors Affecting Tax Evasion in Iran's Economy Based on the Bayesian averaging approach

This study seeks to model tax evasion and identify how effective factors affect tax evasion in the Iranian economy. Recent models show the failure of traditional models; Models do not have enough ability to model hidden variables such as tax evasion. The present study considers this failure in identifying explanatory variables and experimental model design. To achieve this, the Bayesian averagi...
